Maya Bad Translation

Why am I getting a bad polygon (as seen in the images)? This is happening on a lot of files, but this is just an example of one of them. I’m using Maya 2009 and Unity 3.1. If I reconstruct the polygon, the bad texture moves to a different polygon. The only way I’ve been able to fix this is by subdividing that specific polygon and shrinking the bad part to a size of zero…and I don’t really consider this to be a fix. Also, I tried deleting non-deformer history.


First make sure you use the latest FBX plugin (i.e. 2011). If the problem persists, please submit a bug and send me the case number.
