Maya -> FBX convertor issue. Textures/UV's


When I import an fbx file (geo w/texture) into Unity from Maya the textures are messed up and I need to use the Tiling and Offset tools in the inspector to straighten them out. Somehow The UV information in Maya is getting ignored? I’m only using 1 UV set in Maya and I get the same problem if I convert to file textures or not…

Any ideas?..


Make sure your FBX plugin in Maya is up to date (FBX 2011.3.1 is recommended for Unity 3.x). Nothing else come to my mind.

Try to import the textures separately from the model, import them to the Unity and then apply them as material
