Maya to Unity...Bone Animations Dont Work...

Hey guys, really urgent help needed. I have a character thats been animated that im trying to import into unity. Ive baked all the keys down, deleted the controls/ik’s etc etc etc, the animation still plays in maya so the bake seems fine. I export to fbx, but when i import it into unity, none of the bone based animation works. The only thing that works is the mesh animation. IE: Ive animated the mesh to bob up and down, and then animated the joints in the arms to “sway” by his sides, but the only animation that plays in unity is the up and down bob. Game is due in tomorrow for the IGF and I have no idea what is going wrong.

Managed to narrow it down to what seems to be the mesh being un-skinned from the joints on export. Any ideas?
