Hi there! I was searching some input for my mind and found this mmorpg. Maybe anybody is interested in, so I think sharing this will be interesting. Client download is 62mb! (no joke).
I post this because the game is really basic but really complete. Some big companys should look and lean about the well done translations and really good help for newbies. It has no minimap I found and there is no music. Character can only walk, not run when I’m right.
Not downloading it but looked at the screenshots. I have a very hard feeling the game downloads assets as you play, the world (based off screenshots) looks too complex to only be 62mb total.
Eternal Lands is quite well known actually. The people behind it have been developing the game for some time now. I would say I have been aware of it for at least more than 5-6 years. I even played it briefly once upon a time. I even remember there used to a be a famous article by one of the developers of that game on dos and donts while developing a game. Can’t find the link now though
Runescape is hardly representative of the average install time of a game. For instance, the first Deus Ex game probably took about 20 minutes to install when new.
