Today the ‘Modular Base MCS Compatible Armour’ was accepted and published here on the asset store.
It is compatible with, also dependent on MCS Male and MCS Female products, contains Male and Female variant’s of the armour.
The male and female models share the same textures and materials, for paired items such as gauntlets, sabatons(shoes) etc, there is one model for each pair.
The armour parts are as follows.
Close helm
Cuirass
Gauntlets
Greaves
Sabatons
Spaulders
Tassets
Upper Arm (including Elbow)
Upper Leg (including Knee)
Vambraces
Texture variant’s are available as free extras on my website, these won’t be in the store package so as to keep the size down as they are over 1Gb altogether.
The ‘Modular Base MCS Compatible Armour’ serve as the ‘standard’ base items all other items will be made to fit to.
If you would want to make your own items to work with mine then you would make them conform to this ‘standard’ set.
I shall create a short tutorial at some point explaining this if there is enough interest.
Currently this is in beta stage as no doubt the standard will still need adjusting slightly as I find ‘things don’t quite fit’, the textures need more work and I’m sure people will find things I haven’t noticed.
Also, pending review is Compatible Hosen (Pants) both male and female variants.
