Measurements always off

I must be either retarded or insane, trying to get proper measurements in the hololens it is always off by a little bit.

Example:
I have a table that is 15in. by 15in. I have 4 cubes that are parented to always be 15in apart. However, whenever I place the parent at exactly the corner, the other 4 cubes are slightly longer or shorter. The parent is anchored once it is placed so it shouldn’t be moving…
Has anyone else ran into this issue with the hololens, this is driving me bonkers (I have checked the distances in unity and even in 3ds max and the distance is correct in both of those software’ just not on the hololens.)

Unfortunately its really hard to get accuracy for anything on the hololens. Anchors will jump, spatial mapping will cause inconsitencies, etc etc.

Make sure your spatial mapping is entirely accurate and the entire room is mapped, with 0 holes anywhere.

Overall though, welcome to the hololens, where insanity meets frustration and kicks it in the *****

That is as I feared and and have started to learn. Thank you for at least confirmation that I am not completely insane / retarded…
