mecanim animation and position change

Why transform.position of object wicth playing animation changes depends of animation? and how I can to turn it off?

I have project with simple character witch control by the character controller

When I trien to create mecanim animation controller and simply add default animation, it starts changing position, the same thing in mecanim tutorial, when I add to character default animation run - he run’s away, with out any scripts.

I figure it out, yes whydoidoit is write, but if uncheck Applay Root Motion the amination will not controll character any more, that’s useful for working with Nav Mesh or Character Controller
