Hi,
I’ve been trying to get a character fully animated with mecanim, and for some reason my rig seems to spaz out when using a second layer with a body mask(only arms and head enabled).
The animations I use on the first animation layer are a simple idle, run forward, and run backward animation, and the second layer contains a single sword slashing animation.
What happens now is the basic idle animations from the first layer are played, even if the second layer should be playing. While doing this the legs of my character seem to be pulled into the pelvis and keep trying to animate like that.
I have no clue as to why this happens, and cannot seem to find any type of tutorial describing the process of doing this kind of animation blending. Does anybody know why this is happening? Or does anybody have some tutorial on the subject? Any help is greatly appreciated!
