Mecanim & BodyMask

Hello there!
I have a simple AnimationController:

This works fine, but I have no clue how I can make that if I have a Torch for example, that the Animator uses another animation just for the Right hand?

Has anyone a good approach for this?
Or is there a common way to do such things?

Yes, create a new Layer, create a body mask that just selects the had that holds the torch, draw your holdingTorch animation in there and play it while the parameter torch=true
