Mecanim Walk to Run(sprint)

Hello, so I’m just curious how you use mecanim to increase your walk speed to a run speed and animation. For example, default is W makes you walk forward at 1.0f and if you hold down shift your speed increases to 4.0f and the run animation plays. How do you set this up in Mecanim?

At the moment, I have it working fine from Idle to Walk using a Speed paramter, but I can’t find any info online about transitioning to a run/sprint. Thanks!

In your blend tree, you can setup the animation state to change based on a value, such as speed.
