Haha it is a simplified stealth game where you try to exit without being noticed by the guards. I’d like to think of it as Pac-Man + Metal Gear Solid. Was the trailer not very clear? Maybe I should make a longer version to explain the game better.
Yea looking at the video the clips are a bit quick to see what’s actually going on. Maybe slow it down or show her running further or maybe even some type of tutorial? Or some text that shows you draw the path for her to follow?
Like when she’s first running away, just overlay some text “Draw a path for her to escape”
And when she hides in the phone booth…“Use the environment to your advantage”…
Hm, sorry to say, but the animations look really odd and make it all look rather unfinished and unpolished. It’s not the cartoony paperback style that’s the issue - I find that rather sweet allthough also not quite coherent in style - it’s really the animations.
Thanks Sollthar for the feedback. Yeah the animation is very basic. I placed a lower priority on visual when I was making the game, so the animation is basically 2D images rotating left and right. Definitely something to improve upon, and I’ll see if I can improve it soon via an update.
by the way, are you talking about the animation in general, or the 2nd video I posted above? I just realized the video is laggy. I always assumed it was my slow connection to YouTube but it seems like it’s the gameplay in the video that’s laggy. Needs to re-do the videos…
148Apps and Casual Girl Gamer think the game is above average, while Indie Game Reviewer hates the game. What do you think? I’ve got some promo codes to share. Please give the game a try and let me know your thoughts! I plan to continue updating it, so let me know if you have any suggestions. I am open to any ideas - as long as we keep the game family-friendly…
