Hello, I have Unity 2018.3.8 and the Memory profiler taken on bitbucket suggested by unity in not working anymore. It freezes while taking the snapshot, is taking an huge quantity of memory. It was totally working on 2017 ! Why is that ? I have also set a 6GB paging memory on my real 8 GB RAM size.
Maybe is because of Il2cpp?

Since 2018.3, we’ve refocused our memory profiling efforts to the new Memory Profiler Package. Please use that one instead. As to what is different in 2018.3, we’ve reworked the memory snapshot back-end quite a bit and continue to do so for 2019 and 2020, stabilizing it, improving the performance and the memory overhead for capturing as well as ensuring the data validity. The bitbucket memory profiler was really more of a hack.
Also, at least while it is still in preview, you can find more information, ask questions or provide feedback to the new tool in the Forums’ Betas & Experimental Features → Profiler Previews section.
Also, if your issues with taking a memory snapshot persist, please file a bug report.
