I can’t seem to get a snapshot from an actual iPhone when i build the default template 3D project from unity 2019.3.0f1 and just run that and capture it using the profiler. The whole process hangs forever…
Does anyone have the same issue with this?
So the process would look like this :
create a new 3D project
get preview9 from the Package Manager
compile the project with development build turned on
connect to it while its running on the device (all my devices are running iOS 13.X)
the snapshot starts and a temp file is being created

There is a known bug since 2019.3 that we’ve fixed (and where the fix will be shipped with the next 2019.3 and 2020.1 versions) where taking snapshots on mobile devices can enter into a deadlock.
If you’re on 2019.3.0f2 or 2020.1.0a15 and taking a snapshot takes over 30 mins, please file a bug report, as there should be no more deadlock and capture times are down by up to 10x compared to 2019.2 or 2018.4 and 30 mins for a capture would now clearly indicate something is broken.
