I’m a beginner, so I have these doubts please help me, it’s difficult, because I do not speak English, I’ve also read the manual, and I’m trying to understand, most things are in English.
these are my doubts, I hope you can understand…

1-How can the collision area of a 3D object with a complex mesh be represented without using a Mesh Collider?

2-It is correct to move objects that have a Collider, but do not have a Rigidbody. Why?

Those are my doubts for now, thank you. sorry for english.,

  1. add a rigidbody to the top most gameobject and add primitive colliders as children that form the complex mesh.
  2. because colliders without a rigidbody are optimised by the physics engine for better performance. colliders that don’t move can be calculated differently. that’s why moving colliders without Rigidbodies is expensive, trying to do so interferes in a more expensive way.
