I am trying to do a breakable wall with many (10) different pieces, forming a different cube. I want the wall to break on player collision, but there is a problem in collisions.
When I import the wall with mesh colliders generated, it stands straight. however, once I add rigidbody into any of the pieces, they actually go through each other.
any solutions?

you tried changing the mass and turning off gravity?
yes, but i want the player to knock on it and it will fall realistically, so i need the collider to work properly…
One solution would be to detect when your wall must fall, and at this moment, destroy the current wall, instantiate a “dead wall” prefab (the previous wall plus rigidbodies and colliders, copying the position and rotation of the previous wall.
Hey cookcarp, mesh colliders will not collide with each other. Use a box collider instead. Also make sure that you are using ‘Continuous’ collision detection (setting on the Rigidbody) otherwise the cubes will fall through each other a little before being correct and your wall will probably just fall down.
From the docs "Mesh Colliders cannot collide with each other unless they are marked as Convex. Therefore, they are most useful for background objects like environment geometry. "
