We are trying to fit the mesh collider with the mesh so that it fits perfect (flush), we have convex ticked, does anyone know a way around this? or a fix?

As far as I’m aware (Might be wrong) There’s no option in unity to make this tighter.
What you can do is make a custom collision mesh inside of your modelling software, import it and set that as the mesh in the mesh collider.
