I am using simple mesh cubes in the rendered object of a particle system, with 100 max particles in the main, single system.
When looking at the stats screen of the play window, as soon as the particle aystem is added to view, the tris go up by a million or so and remain that high until the particle system is deleted.
This is not affected by the emission rate. Even if I set the rate to zero, the number of triangles is huge until system is deleted.
Anyone seen this? Is the stats window not reliable? Seems the meshes are included in the stats even if they are not being emitted/visible.
