Mesh Stamp how to?

My issue is that i can’t make sense of the internal relations between my mesh’s actual size, the brush size and Scale in settings.
i have a big terrain mesh which i want to stamp at it’s mesh size into a terrain.
Mesh:

as you can see it has a hole in it where an interactive terrain needs to be placed, so i need it to stamp a perfect copy.
the mesh is 1536X1024. i would think setting brush size to 1 and tried both setting scale to 1 and setting scale to 1536x1024. but doesn’t give a 1 : 1 result.
Same for height, there is brush intensity Scale y and height offset.

So my question is how to use these parameters to get a exact copy of my Mesh in the Terrain?

Also, the documentation doesn’t seem to align with the actual in editor for the same version.
Docs for 3.0.1:

In Editor package 3.0.1:

Not Shift but C:

Bump… No one knows? Any guesses welcome

Just to be clear all I ask is the relationship between the setting and the actual mesh.
How are the mesh dimensions perceived by the mesh stamp tool?

Hey @RZGames_Jethro . If I remember correctly, the mesh scale is “normalized” in brush space so that it always fits within the brush bounds before the tool settings transform is applied. I will check when I get the chance to confirm this.

Hi @wyattt ok thanks, so but that would mean setting the brush to the width? or length? of my mesh should give me a 1:1 representation of my mesh?
my mesh is 1536X1024 if i set the brush to 1536 and mesh scale to 1,1,1 i get this
5937824--635414--upload_2020-6-4_10-21-15.png
you can see the flat terrain, the mesh and the stamp.
