MeshRenderer: Object at index 0 is null

Hey,

I’ve created a custom mesh generated by code and once in a while I will get this error message. This happens mostly after recompiling code in the editor:

Important to note it’s an editor tool, so I’m not playing the game, it’s all editor mode. Unfortunately I can’t trace exactly where and why the error occurs, because it happens within Unity. I hope there is a known fix, otherwise I’ll file a bug report.
