Ok, i don’t even finished my first unity tutorial, but my next step is going to create a metroivania game, so, is there any good tutorial or any material to help me with that “easy” task?
Probably start by just looking at platformer tutorials. Then RPG elements.
You know a good one?
Ummm… no
That previous comment is about as useful as I get. Pretty sure there would be quite a few around here though.
Ty anyway, is a start since i was looking metroivania tutorial
The genre is pretty deep, and the level design and world in general requires some thought before u put it togheter.
I recommend that u play games that do this. My fav list is Metroid for SNES, Castlevania Symphony of the Night for PSX, PS3 and Xbox, Aquaria for PC. going through these will teach u alot on how to structure a game like this, at they are not really normal platformers. They require u to lock off areas ina open world, find upgrades and skills, then backtrack alot. Great games!
Yes, i played a lot of castlevania from ds
i will play as study (serious face), aquaria, i will search about it.
found this pretty quick. its not unity specific, but in the end that shouldn’t matter.
it was literally the second google result
