Hello, guys. I’m trying to find advocates of Unity in Miami. This kind of post was out but a really long time a go. But the thing is, now is kind of dissolved. For that, I’m willing to try to reunite this group. In fact, I’m willing to make a facebook page so everyone is connected.
So, question. Who is a developer and living in Miami OR in the Miami-Dade County?
Google searching for IGDA Miami is probably a good start.
Wow, groups in Orlando and Tampa but not Miami, bummer.
I live in OC California and we have a Unity sanctioned group right here. There are groups in LA and San Diego also. The Orange County group is not active at all. There have only been two meetings this year and the last forum post was in april. So maybe Miami users are doing what I do, plug away on your own. Not sure whats worse, no group in your area or a group in your back yard that is useless.
Good start, yeah. The thing is we all know very much already and the majority are UE developers.
I know that Miami thrives in Unity developers, but is so weird that I can’t find them.
There are a couple groups in the area, but yes some of them have been a little more focused in UE. If you do get some people together, let me know, as I’d like to participate (Broward county though).
Bud, yes, a lot of people are going here by the UE route, nevertheless, there are a BUNCH of developers here that uses Unity for their games. We use to meet up either on FIU main campus or on MAGIC the faculty of Game design from MDC in Wolfson Campus. If you need any question, send me a PM and I can you the discord chat.
