mic support in new version

Hi there

I want to download the new (beta) version of Unity, but I have one question, if someone could please help. The fact that the new version supports microphone I/P, does that necessarily means that I will be able to record audio? My app must be able to record, so if not I don’t want to waste bandwidth downloading.

Yes, you can record audio. If you record something, it will be available as AudioClip. Yet, there is no built in way to save it as wav, but I have seen a thread in the forums where someone could successfully do it.
