Microphone support in Unity 3.0

Hi !

Will support the new unity 3.0 functions to handle the microphone? As an example, get the input level, to make a vu meter? Or is it still necessary to use pluggins?

at least for 3.0, its still a matter of plugins, no support for microphone or webcam

I think it’s rather disappointing that we still don’t have mic support at this stage…I know there’s so much on the devs plates but still…and using squaretangle’s fmod isn’t really workable (at least for my scenario). Switching the AudioSession off and on is also not ideal. I’ve been using libpd without Unity for now…which is far less than ideal.

I wanna come back to Unity! Please please please bring mic audio to the fore!
