Got the same god damn problem and don’t have any c# scripts in the game

Seriously though people, why is this happening?

Antivirus software that does process supervising and fucks up thread states.

I have this problem also. When I updated it started. I don’t have antivirus so don’t blame it on that. It is some bug in the update that causes it to crash for certain people.

Its possible that there is additionally a reason in the new version yes.
But generally this kind of erros are also related to things running and interfering on the system.

As for the updated based crash: do you happen to modify skin render meshes manually? I think I read some thread that the new multithreaded animation offload is not exactly liking it if you toy with the stuff after you handed it “over”

I’m going to take a guess you’re running 3.4 on 64bit windows 7. if so welcome to crash world.

You can reduce the frequencies by turning off real time scanning in your virus scanner but won’t remove it completely and it’ll still happen on occasion. 3.3 shouldn’t have the problem so if you don’t need something in 3.4 I’d stick with it till fixed. Otherwise, save a lot!

I’m guess there is more than one cause for this. In case anyone else has this problem, I fixed it by deleting the Library and Temp folders.
