Hi All
I’m having an issue with the navigation controls in the Unity editor window. When I use the middle mouse button to pan the scene, then release the button, the camera centers on wherever the mouse cursor is. So panning is still working, but clicking the middle button pans the camera back to the mouse. This is extremely annoying and never used to happen, I haven’t changed any of the default Unity controls or anything it just started happening recently. Has anyone come across this before?
We have the same issue - did you manage to solve it. Please help!
You may want to create your own threads with screenshots/error console readouts (if any).
Well the problem is exactly as the OP described, releasing the middle mouse button after panning interpolates the scene camera to wherever the mouse position ends up (like a focus move to the mouse pos). Extremely frustrating extremely quickly. Restarting Unity doesn’t help. No errors in console…

It doesnt seem to be an issue anymore in newer versions of Unity… Or at least I’m not doing whatever it is that was causing it. I rarely use the middle mouse button anymore though. Much easier to use the right-click/wasd controls instead
When press middle mouse button once the screen seems to do something like alighnment, this causes some of my rendertextures to reset to red, is this also a bug ?
