Hey all!
I have been developing for Mac/PC using Unity for quite some time and now I felt like purchasing a mobile license. My problem is, I don’t know how to do even basic stuff for mobile development. For example, how can I determine if an object is touched in C#? Also, some sample code on using the accelerometer would be very nice! One more thing. Where can I find all this info for myself, now that unity3d.com’s layout has changed? Thanks in advance! ![]()
The docs? What are you not finding on unity3d.com that you were previously?

Thanks for the reply! It got the accelerometer covered, however I still need a way to detect touches on certain objects. Before the release of Unity 4 there was a page with samples, demos and example projects and also some assets. I can’t seem to locate that anymore. Any idea about touches?
For startes, touches are also sent as mouse events, so you can trap to those like regular mouse clicks. For more compilcated touch interactions, there’s Input.touches.
