So anyone who follows Minecraft by now should know about Amazon fire tv’s controller pad support. I own an Ouya and would like to port this game’s specific apk to it. Can I legally purchase it here?
Or do I need to log unto the console’s Ui and get it from there?
I guess I don’t understand what you’re asking. My assumption is that you want to play it on your ouya and I don’t think that’s possible at least not the way you describe. Paid apps from any of the app stores have drm on them and authorize the user before launching. I’m not familiar with the ouya but the only route this usually works on android is to sideload the app store (in this case amazon). Then with the store on device it will authorize your legally purchased item fine. I don’t know if this is possible on ouya and would be a question on the xda forums not the unity forums.
Thanks for the help Greg. It seems it may not be possible without first owning a fire tv. I hear you’ll end up with a tablet version unless specifically using the Fire Tv interface. It surprises me that no one has extracted the apk and tried it on ouya yet.
