Mirror option missing - Mecanim newbie question

Hi everyone

I’m making a game that takes advantage of the new mecanim system which seems fantastic. I noticed in the beginning that there is a “mirror” option in the animation tap for the different cycles which I found to be genius (so I only had to have the animators animate one side) … but somewhere during production this option disappeared???

please see attached (comparison with a unity avatar where the mirror option is still there)

What am I doing wrong, or what did I do to loose the awesome feature??

I found an answer!

Apparently the “mirror animation” option is exclusive to humanoid rigs - so if you, like me, are working with characters that have generic rigs (like the pig above), don’t search any longer for the mirror option - instead, jump back into your 3d application and animate the other side too :slight_smile:
