Missing editor preview window

This has happened a few times. The Preview window in the editor suddenly disappears. I can’t locate it anywhere in the editor.
There is no option for “Preview window” in the “Add tab” popup.
Nor is there a preview window option in in the Window file menu.

Does anyone know how to open the preview window?

I have the same issue, i think the problem is more than a just setting problem, has anybody a solution?
