Up until now I think URP is still missing a couple of critical high performance features for mobile platform specially android. From what I see currently 2 main missing features are high performance terrain and foliage for mobile platform. The current available terrain at editor is so damn slow for mobile platform that can’t use at serious game production. Any plan to implement high performance solution? Or actually there’s dots terrain and foliage solutions working in progress?

We are aware of the challenges running terrain and vegetation on mobile and it’s something that hasn’t had a lot of dedicated work on in the past. We are working on making the mobile terrain/veg experience better but we’ll share more specific details in the future. The main thing to know today is that we have a dedicated team working on this specific problem.
