MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'GameObject' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it. Your script should either check if it is null or you should not destroy the object.

URGENT!!!
I am creating Flappy bird for my school project.
When I add pipes generator it works well, but when it comes to pipes destroying, pipe generator just stopped working!

It says “MissingReferenceException: The object of type ‘GameObject’ has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it.
Your script should either check if it is null or you should not destroy the object.”

It says I have to check it its null or not, but how???

Is Destroy class attached to each pipe gameobject? If so, use Destroy (this.gameObject); to be sure. Otherwise I think this line causes a problem since “gameObject” is not defined in your class.
