I made this in an evening to see what I could do with the standard unity assets. Hope you like it.

The water is a new feature in the latest unity update. The trees are just made with the tree creator and painted onto the landscape. All the textures are standard ones that come with Unity and the rolling fog effect is a particle emitter I tweaked to get the look I want.

I recently upgraded mid project and I haven’t had any problems apart from some lag in the editor that doesn’t carry over into the build.
Wait it didn’t take all the assets and projects out when you uninstalled it and put the new one in?
It didn’t touch my projects at all.
so you jsut uninstalled it then installed the new one??
I didn’t uninstall I just installed the new one over the top.
what? so you just download it and installed it without taking the other out?

Although I agree this looks great, I don’t recommend you follow capnbub’s lead. I recommend that you always make a backup of any current project before loading it into a new version of Unity. I also recommend that you install new versions of Unity into a separate folder, keeping the old version on your hard drive as well. Although everything could (and should) just work, you never know what might happen if you don’t take precautions, especially if you’re in the middle of a project. Good ol’ Murphy tends to bite you when you least expect it. 
Ah indeed I should have mentioned that I have my project backed up in Dropbox in case anything ever goes wrong. This particular web player was just made since the new update came out mainly to try out the new water. What bigkahuna says is good sense, always keep a backup of anything you’ve spent a lot of time on whether you are installing the new unity or not.
Only the stuff you can see looks nice, all the rest of the terrain is flat xD
Very nice demo, It is a little bit dark though.
