Anyone else see this yet? It seems like a good idea. However, I am trying to figure what is included right out of the box still.

Woah, that looks pretty awesome. Like a significantly more friendly Daz Studio. It has a free demo; maybe give that a try?
Edit: found a review on the steam forums. Sounds like a complete waste of time. Can’t create custom animations or nothing. It’s a silly showcase the way I understand it for the products they already sell on their website. This really doesn’t come to much surprise though as I absolutely hate Mixamos pricing and business model, but they’ve good animations and I see no better alternative atm.
Well of course not, as this is for a different part of the character creation process. Mixamo sell character animations, but a lot of people can’t use them because they don’t have characters to apply them to. Mixamo used to have a model creation service, but it was purchased and shut down by Autodesk. This is their replacement for that small part of the pipeline. And, if you look at the character models on their website, it’s pretty well priced to boot (though that could change depending on how much additional content costs).
Also, the developer responses already made on the review you linked seem pretty decent.
What I want to know is how much control you have over things like polygon count. From memory their rigging tool allows for different detail granularity, but I see nothing anywhere about polygon counts of the generated models.

I just had a very quick try of the demo and it seems fantastic , I don’t see why you couldn’t create your own animations, you can export to .OBJ.
I tried it too, it’s nothing special, just combines pre-made models into one. You have no control over polycounts.
