i am making an action rpg 3rd person camera with comic graphics, (for simplicity and minimization)
question:
-
can i make each body section separate and then import them into unity? ie. make legs, torso and head separate and then import them into unity without animation, and animate them in unity(walk, run, craft, attack cycles)?
-
or should i make the individual pieces (legs, torso and head) in c4d and connect them together in c4d and animate them in c4d before importing them over?
a. my plan is to make 2 leg sets, and several torsos, muscular, skinny, fat. one for woman and one set
for men. color the sets using texturing to about 30 so i have what appears to be a large variety of
people.
i am only one man making the entire game, so i need to be as minimalistic as possible without looking to be too much of a short-cutter. for this reason creativity is key.
3.what is the best way to recycle animations as much as possible and also recycle body parts as much as possible but insure that their is an acceptable number of originality?
thank you very much for any help you can give me. i have already begun creating the body parts but don’t know what to do with them in terms of animating them or importing them into unity.
