Is there Away to Get around Nat so all Computer Playing The Game Can Connect On matter What kind Of Nat you Have.
There is no way around NAT, if a user is on a private ip address he needs it to access the internet. Private ip’s don’t get routed on the internet.
The user has to have a public ip, or you host the game instances on server thats on a public ip.
So how Can i Get All the Player to Connect to the Game.
If the end-user’s hardware doesn’t support the nat-punchthrough, there is nothing you can do.
Do The New Computers Support Nat now.
Computers don’t support NAT, only routers, switches, hubs, wifi-routers, modems, …
Maybe read up on NAT how it works and what it exactly does, it might help you understand.
NAT = Network Address Translation
And How Can i Make The IP address a Public IP address .
Buy/rent one from your provider.
hmm you Have to Pay for one. how much is it. and can i make the Computer Have a public IP for free.
This has nothing to do with Unity anymore… Contact your provider, prices are different from provider to provider. Also note that public ip’s are not for grabs… providers have strict rules on distribution in general.
OK thank you.
