Model from SolidWorks to Unity (Color)

Hello, I’m having some issues when using solidworks models in Unity. What I do is to save the part in .STL format then using Meshlab I convert it to .DAE

When I use the .DAE file in Unity it’s completely white, It can be modified tough, but only the color of the FULL model. I.E: If I designed an Airplane and I want for it to have the cockpit glass black and the wings grey, how can I do it?

Thanks in advance!

Usually people create textures for model and put coors and details there. You could assign different materials to each part and control color of each. You can also set vertex colors.

I don’t know which of those you can control in SolidWorks and transfer to Unity through your conversion process.
