model gets longer when i rotate it

i have a model of a sword and if i put it flat it will stay normal length but if i rotate it up when i start the game it goes really long and stays like that after i stop the game, does anyone know how to fix this?

Make an empty game object then place it at the point of the sword you want it to rotate from (handle, blade, center, tip, etc.) Make the empty parent of the sword then make it rotate, instead of making the sword rotate. If that doesn’t work try reimporting the mesh, and Good Luck.
