Model of smartphone on Android

Which model of smartphone is better for test game on Unity. Price to 350$

gtab2, android 4.0

Dude, he asked for a Smartphone, not a tablet.

I’d vote for the Nexus S, it’s one of the Google phones, it’s unlocked (easy to install new OS versions or Custom ROMs) and one of the first phones to get updated Firmware (currently Android OS 4.1) and has a good GPU (PowerVR’s SGX540).

If you have more money to spend on, the Galaxy Nexus is the latest of Googles smartphones, but I doubt you will get it below 500$ w/o a contract

Dude, ICS need at least 1GB RAM, Nexus S only have 512 MB RAM.

ICS (Android 4.0) doesn’t need 1gb of RAM.
And the Nexus S is already update to JellyBean (Android 4.1).

Wow, you can’t even read the linked articles.

Actually i’d go a cheaper route . The moto trumph is like 250$, runs OK and is what I use . Plus you can get it on sale for 170ish no contract .

This is because you want folks with mid-range phones to be able to run your game . It’d be pretty silly to have a game that only the top 10% of users can play .

obviously you don’t have android device (at least 4.0 device), read about Android 4.0 CDD document you moron!

but you still talking bullshit advocating ppl to buy expensive phone (yet Nexus S will be outdated soon).

Just follow my advice, the cheapest one is Gtab2 it’s only $250, or Evo3d it’s about $370, both with 1GB RAM

Don’t make me close this thread as well.

Or buy the Nexus 7, it’s fast and furious and cheap and you might even enjoy it as a product because it’s great ! And Tegra chips offers great profiling tools (I heard…)
