model texture missing

when i create fbx file from maya the texture come with fbx file. when i extract texture manually it correctly assign to model. but when i create fbx file from 3dx max it also bring texture it self, but extract texture manually it store in folder but not apply in model…thanks

Hi there,

You will have to create a new Material, assign that texture to the material, and then drag the material into the object in the scene.

If the fbx has more than one part/textures then you will have to do more materials and drag them to the correspondent part.
