Hi buddies,
I would to know if there is the possibility to use configurable joints like a slider constraint (you can think to the slider constraint in bullet). We can do that with a configurable joint but, for example, to model a piston or lift (which acts on Y) would be nice have the possibility to set a force and velocity (I want to drive using velocity and not position) in order to make the slide action.
I can think to set the force on RigidBody and not on the joint, but in this way the gravity force isn’t “counteracted” by the motor force when the movement act on -Y…Moreover is difficult to me to stop the configurable joint at some position if I drive it using velocity. In fact, I need a slider ![]()
Can you point to me in the right way?
Thanks.
