Hi everyone. I’m modeling a hammock for my game but am having trouble texturing it and am looking for some suggestions. I’m trying to make something like this, http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-of-hammock-beach/512303 only game optimized. I use both MAX and Maya so any suggestions would be great.
I tried creating a plane, converting to editable poly and tried modeling it that way but the bottom of the hammock wasn’t visible. I then tried poly modeling with a box but the hammock turned out too boxy.
Also how can I create a woven texture with alpha to simulate the weave?
