I’m am using the shader: Toon/Basic outline, and I see an outline but cant figure out how I could modify the thickness of the line. Is there a way? I am new to this toon shading thing (well I do know how to do it in my 3D program and tried to import that toon shaded look but didnt work, which lead me to this question) in Unity.
That’s the setting you would use. I think the toon effect works better with some objects than others. Angular objects seem to be less convincing than things with smoother curves.
My model isn’t smooth though(because I wanted it toon shaded which high poly meshes make for a redundant use).
I wanted it to look like this done from my 3D program:
But Unity’s outline is so thin that its unnoticeable, and outline width, when used, just makes everything look weird especially from top down…
