Modo textures import help

I have looked around for hours in both here and modo forums. I am having a problem getting some materials to import over to unity. Materials such as the chain mesh. In modo it shows up great but when I save and bring into unity there is no chain mesh on the object itself. If anyone could look into this for me and help solve this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

The materials don’t come across from modo apart from the names etc., you will have to re-create the materials in Unity using the shaders.

If you have a mesh and it contains 3 different materials…ie you have selected polys and made a new material 3 times, when you import the fbx file it will have those 3 separated materials but they will all be standard diffuse shader.

I not sure how fbx files handles procedural materials generated within modo… i’m guess the same as above. You may have to bake those down into textures within modo for use in Unity.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand that the textures need to be recreated. I have not tried baking the textures in. I will try that when I get home. This certian texture seems to change the mesh itself, giving it a woven metal look. Ill post what I figure out about it soon. Thanks again!
