I already use Modo for my 3D modeling needs but I know Unity has Probuilder which I hear is useful for level design. Which do you think is better overall for game level design? Should I model my levels in Modo and then import them into Unity or is it simply faster to use probuilder instead?
Use both. ProBuilder for quickly prototyping the initial layout and gameplay of the level (this is generally known as grey boxing), and Modo for creating the actual assets once you’re ready to fill in the details.
