Modular Ancient Alien Pillars [Released]

Hello All,

We created modular pillars for use in our first game and decided to release this pack to the public for a small fee. We know the amount of work and time that is needed to create good models and textures and hope this pack can help others who are just getting started as well.

This modular set of ancient alien pillars allows for an endless number of configurations. It also comes with pre-built configurations as well as three demo scenes.

Features:

  • 49 meshes
  • 97 prefabs
  • 28 unique configurations pre-built
  • Broken pieces can be put back together seamlessly
  • Two LOD stages for the parts for Pillars 1 and 2
  • All models share one texture/material for reduced draw calls
  • 2K PBR textures
  • Highest poly mesh only has 352 tris and 400 verts

Hello Apshai Arts and thanks for your reply. You’ll be pleased to know that the Destructible Pillars Demo will be included in an update soon. It originally wasn’t included because the scene wasn’t set up as cleanly as we think it could be. To get the collisions to work properly, we had to use convex mesh colliders and wasn’t sure if there was a better way to do it. But since the scene was built for demonstration purposes, we have decided to include it in an update.

Updated to v1.02, which now includes the Destructible Pillars Demo.
