I just finished installing Unity 5, and now Monobehaviour will not open at all. I tried creating new scripts, and even creating a whole new project and making a new script there, but no matter what I do I can’t get Monobehaviour to open. I reinstalled Unity 5, and have the same issue. This was never a problem in Unity 4.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
Yeah sorry, I meant Monodevelop! I actually resolved the issue by force closing Monodevelop in task manager, and after that it opened fine. Apparently it was still running in the background even after reinstalling Unity, and that was causing the issue. Thanks for the quick responses!
I upgraded to 5 and tested a while and it is possible to downgrade back to 4. Monodevelop worked ok and I did not encounter any problems with that on osx. Not sure if there would be problems on win, so I would try to reinstalling the 4.
