MonoDevelop crashes Unity

I will start developing to iOS and Android tomorrow, as i’m a Windows User and aways used Visual Studio with Unity, so i used this weekend MonoDevelop to do simple games just to test and i got unknown crashes when debugging, more specifically when watching variables, when i click plus to see more about the object Unity crashes, it happens aways

But this is not what worries me the most, if you search for “MonoDevelop OSX problems” there will be threads were people say things like: “Its this way" or "Its very problematic in OSX” seriously, i’m worried.

Sounds like a very similar problem here.

Just started evaluating Unity for a new project and am finally getting around to testing MonoDevelop debugging Unity Scripts. Unfortunately the very first variable I decide to watch, after expanding it to see the contents, now causes Unity to close everytime I hit the ‘play’ key to start debugging. (And so far I have found no way to remove/minimize that watch variable without hitting a breakpoint in the script.)

Not looking like a great system so far…

Any ideas for a solution?

mono develop isnt very stable. Its very frustrating. Its pretty useless for doing real debugging.
