MonoDevelop does not open with Unity 5.3.4 p6.

Just installed 5.3.4 p6 (I had to as directed by Oculus Staff)

Now MonoDevelop no longer opens up when I double click a script for editing. Instead my ole faithful Notepad++ opens up. How do I start MonoDevelop? Why did p6 now seem to break this? I changed nothing else when I installed p6.

p6 solved my Oculus Rift issue, but broke access to M.D. :eyes:

Yes, it is set in preferences as my external editor.

Also, I did notice that Windows cannot find “monodevelop.exe”. Did it go missing when p6 was installed? I also re-downloaded the Unity Installer and reinstalled Unity, but no luck.

Any ideas?

I had this same issue due to installing Unity in a pluggable external HDD. When I installed Unity on main HDD this problem went away.

Thanks Thrawn75, but Unity is installed on my main drive.
