EDIT: I’VE FIXED THE PROBLEM.
While having the monodevelop on the task bar “highlighted” hit alt + spacebar and then choose “maximize” from the drop down menu.
For no reason that I can see at all, whenever I double click a script to edit, it no longer opens in monodevelop. Well, monodevelop appears in my task bar, but it’s like it’s stuck to “minimized” and I can’t click it to bring it up to edit my scripts. I’ve tried installing a new version of monodevelop and telling unity to use that one instead, but that just gave me a whole bunch of errors and “X is missing” stuff etc. I’m quite happy with 2.4 it’s just stuck to “minimized” can someone help me out? Would be most appreciated, thanks. 
Also let me add that i’ve also tried running it directly from the exe in it’s directory and it still is stuck at “minimized”
I also just tried using the unity setup file and only ticking monodevelop and re-installing over it and that still didn’t fix it.
