Monodevelop window always on top - Windows7-64

Ever since last night monodevelop is somehow always on top of every other window.
Maybe I pressed something by chance.

Anyone knows how to undo this?
Thanks.

I had the same problem, it’s a bug, don’t think it’s our fault, since when you turn on fullscreen in the view menu, than turn it off, it will work as expected again

Thanks for that workaround, but this bug is really annoying

Yep, agreed, am hitting this regularly and is REALLY annoying - and thanks for the workaround. Just had the options screen hidden by the main view!

Ah, thank you for that!

Good to know, I was killing that stupid thing every time it happened.

Bump*

I would love to see this fixed, very annoying bug.

Thanks for the workaround.

I’m getting this same annoying problem too. Seems random…?

Has anyone reported this as a bug?

As for reporting this bug. I’m not sure.

Note to others: To make it less annoying, you could bind a key to the ‘Full screen’. That way, you can just quickly toggle between full and normal screen which is the current workaround to this issue.

I’ll keep an eye on how to reproduce this…

OH! I killed that for this bug all the time too, thanks for the workaround.

and the bug still there >.<
but you know, it’s not a bug it’s a feature :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Just ran into this issue as well. At least there is a simple workaround

Looking at the MonoDevelop bugzilla, it is a patch they’ve made a while ago that we don’t have yet.

Is there any perma-fix for this yet? It’s annoying the hell outta me.

(still doing it in the build that ships with Unity 5.0.1).

I suspect it will not float to the top until after the IL2CPP thing is done, and can move Unity up to a newer version of Mono.

Fingers crossed it happens soon! (though I haven’t had it happen much lately, seems there are triggers I have been avoiding more often)
